<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Fever in children is one of the most common reasons for seeking medical care and use of antipyretic drugs. The reasons can be various. It is extremely important for the pediatrician to find the cause of the fever and prescribe adequate therapy. Antipyretic drugs are symptomatic, they only relieve the condition of the child and improve the quality of life. The article reviews national and international studies and clinical guidelines of professional communities on fever in children. Currently, only ibuprofen and paracetamol fully meet the safety and efficacy criteria, and they are recommended for use in pediatric practice as antipyretic drugs.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>дети</kwd><kwd>лихорадка</kwd><kwd>национальные рекомендации</kwd><kwd>терапия</kwd><kwd>ибупрофен</kwd><kwd>парацетамол</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>children</kwd><kwd>fever</kwd><kwd>national recommendations</kwd><kwd>therapy</kwd><kwd>ibuprofen</kwd><kwd>paracetamol</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Локшина Э.Э., Зайцева О.В., Зайцева С.В.
