Вирус SARS-CoV-2, впервые обнаруженный в 2019 году, отличается от других вирусов семейства Coronaviridae SARS-CoV и MERS-CoV повышенной контагиозностью и скоростью распространения. Одной из патогенетических мишеней вируса SARS-CoV-2 является нервная система человека, поражение которой часто вторично и происходит за счет прямого вирусного воздействия, параинфекционных и иммуноопосредованных механизмов системного воспаления. Развитие энцефалита и менингоэнцефалита считается редким осложнением инфекции COVID-19 и имеются лишь единичные описанные клинические случаи поражения нервной системы на фоне течения новой коронавирусной инфекции у взрослых и детей. В статье представлено описание клинического случая ребенка с развитием стойких тяжелых неврологических нарушений в виде центрального тетрапареза и структурной эпилепсии на фоне мультисистемного воспалительного синдрома, ассоциированного с COVID-19.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The new coronavirus infection associated with the SARS-CoV-2 virus has become one of the global medical and social problems of the 21st century. The SARS-CoV-2 virus, first discovered in 2019, differs from other Coronaviridae viruses SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV in increased contagiousness and spread rate. One of the pathogenetic targets of the SARS-CoV-2 virus is the human nervous system, the damage to which is often secondary and occurs due to direct viral exposure, parainfective and immune-mediated mechanisms of systemic inflammation. The development of encephalitis and meningoencephalitis is considered a rare complication of COVID-19 infection and there are only isolated clinical cases reported of damage to the nervous system against the background of the new coronavirus infection in adults and children.
