Оценка эффективности применения комплекса природных терпеноидов у дошкольников с рекуррентными острыми респираторными инфекциями (ОРИ).</p></sec><sec><title>Материал и  методы</title><p>Материал и  методы. Обследованы 7129 детей в  возрасте от  3 до  7 лет, которые были разделены на  3 группы. У  детей основной группы (n=2400) эндоназально (нанесение в виде аппликаций ватными палочками на  слизистую полости носа) применялся комплекс природных терпеноидов 2 раза в день (утром и вечером) 5 дней в неделю курсом от 1 до 3 мес. Профилактика и лечение детям из группы сравнения (n=2379) проводились препаратом диоксотетрагидрокситетрагидронафталин. Группу контроля составили дети (n=2350), которым профилактика и лечение не проводились. По завершению курса терапии детей обследовали в динамике.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Показан позитивный клинический эффект использования комплекса природных терпеноидов, что подтверждается уменьшением числа ОРИ в  течение года в  1,6 раза и  продолжительности острого эпизода заболевания на  2,5 дня, а также положительным влиянием в  отношении элиминации вируса Эпштейн–Барр у часто болеющих детей при  применении препарата в течение 65,51±2,98 дня. Благоприятный клинический эффект отмечается на фоне уменьшения количества нейтрофилов и эозинофилов в риноцитограмме, а также смешанной флоры и кокков, что свидетельствует об уменьшении мукозального нейтрофильного воспаления и профилактике бактериальных осложнений. </p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Objective</title><p>Objective. To evaluate the effectiveness of the natural terpenoids complex in preschool children with recurrent acute respiratory infections (ARI).</p></sec><sec><title>Material and methods</title><p>Material and methods. There were examined 7129 children of 3-7 years old, they were divided into 3 groups. In main group (n = 2400) there was endonasally (on the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity with cotton buds) used a complex of natural terpenoids 2 times a day (morning and evening) 5 days a week for 1 - 3 months. Prevention and treatment of children from the comparison group (n = 2,379) was carried out with dioxotetrahydroxy tetrahydronaphthalene. The control group consisted of children (n = 2,350), who received no therapy. Upon completion of the course of therapy, children were examined in dynamics.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. The authors noted positive clinical effect of the natural terpenoid complex, as evidenced by a 1.6 times decrease in acute respiratory infections during the year and the duration of the acute episode of the disease by 2.5 days, as well as a positive effect on the elimination of Epstein Barr virusin frequently ill children when using drug for 65.51 ± 2.98 days.
